Welcome to Taqueria La Gloria - Fort Bragg, a hidden gem tucked away on South Main Street. This charming restaurant offers a delightful taste of Guadalajara-style Mexican cuisine, lovingly prepared to order and served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. With a diverse menu that showcases a variety of options, Taqueria La Gloria is a haven for both traditional favorites and bold flavors.
At first glance, the menu is straightforward yet enticing. You'll find classics such as Carne Asada and a range of fajitas—Chicken, Shrimp, and Steak—all priced reasonably between $16.99 and $18.99. The Chile Relleno ($14.99) and Green Chile Pork Tamales ($13.99) promise to highlight the rich, comforting flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine. For those who crave a little heat, the Shrimp A La Diabla ($18.99) could very well become your new favorite.
One of the standout features of Taqueria La Gloria is its commitment to quality and service. Customers consistently rave about the freshness of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Sarah Thomas described it perfectly as a 'lovely hidden gem,' appreciating the straightforward yet delicious menu. Similarly, Gloria Vaine, captivated by the cleanliness and friendliness of the place, expressed eagerness for her next visit to try the mole, an indication that the culinary offerings extend beyond just what's listed.
Drinks like Agua Fresca and Champurrado ($2.99-$3.50) complement the meals beautifully, inviting diners to enjoy a full experience. If you're in the mood for sharing, the Super Nachos ($12.99) are a crowd-pleaser, though Kat Neylan humorously warns of a cheese omission for to-go orders, so a word of advice: make sure to request it!
The clean, cozy space features a small selection of tables for those who wish to dine in. The warm greetings from the staff set a friendly tone, encouraging interaction that makes each visit feel personal. As Marc A. Tager noted, the open kitchen allows diners to witness the cooking process, adding to the restaurant's inviting charm.
In short, Taqueria La Gloria - Fort Bragg is not just a place to eat; it’s an experience rich in flavors, warmth, and community spirit. For anyone passing through Fort Bragg or locals seeking authenticity, this spot is worth every bite. Make sure to give this restaurant a try—you won't be disappointed!

Lovely hidden gem! Guadalajara style Mexican food. Very delicious and freshly made to order. Menu was simple and straightforward offering a variety of options from main dishes (Carne asada) to side dishes (rice & beans). Small brick and mortar place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Prices were fair for portion sizes. I love supporting small businesses and if you do too this is the place for you.

Pretty exciting move for this beloved local building as a new entry to the local Mexican food battle. I love the way you can see the food being prepared and interact with the staff. A small selection of tables for those that want to stay. Very clean and warm, the staff greets you as you enter. The menu is fairly diverse with all that you'd expect. I chose the Al Pastor Burrito which was very good and large. I ate it without the shell trying to find a low carb way to enjoy. Give this place a try.

Best food you’re gonna get in Fort Bragg!! Be warned: if you get nachos to go, they will not come with cheese so make sure you ask!

As a Texan that's spent a lot of time living in Texas, California, and Mexico, this is one of the best taquerias I've experienced anywhere. I had the shrimp, campechano, steak, and chorizo. They were all outstanding!!! Service was great as well. I paid ~$20 with tax and tip.
